Our Approach
Our Community Spirit
Families know each other and have fun together, and Wingate Farms clearly fits that bill. Numerous social functions are organized by the Social Committee, including an Easter Egg Hunt, a summer Luau in June, a Labor Day party (with face painting, golf “closest to the pin” and corn-hole tournaments), a Halloween Party and an end of year Annual meeting with Christmas Party.
There are also numerous ad hoc parties such as “ladies night out”, the lady’s book club (where wine and food are plentiful and having read the book is optional), a men’s bourbon and poker party, and frequent fire-pit parties within the various neighbor areas.
In the fall there is often a “Buckeye Bash” with “bring your own steaks” to grill at the Bear’s Den (our pavilion named after a much beloved past HOA Board president) before major home football games. In the summer, residents walk the subdivision and frequently talk with neighbors knowing just about everyone in the neighborhood. And we are blessed to be very diverse in cultural backgrounds, race, religion and political leanings. All are welcomed.
Our Story
A FEW WORDS ON WINGATE:
"When we were looking at homes in this market, the houses and neighborhoods started to blend together – until we found Wingate Farms. The unique properties, combined with the neighborhood amenities and sense of community, sealed the deal for our family. We're thrilled to be here."

"One of the factors that really drew our family to Wingate Farms was the sense of community here. It’s a true neighborhood where people not only know each other but become friends. We enjoy all of the various organized neighborhood activities – the Easter Egg Hunt, Moms’ night out, back-to-school party and Halloween are a few of my favorites – as well as spontaneous summer cookouts. Our family has developed so many great friendships in this neighborhood. It’s a truly great place to live and raise a family and I can honestly say that we never want to move."
